What countries does US buy it's oil from?

pie chartWhat countries does US buy it's oil from?
Overall, much of the U.S. Oil imports come from Canada and Mexico (in that order) at this time. These two countries make up the bulk (roughly half) of oil imported to the U.S.. Nigeria, Venezuela and Saudi Arabia are close thirds. The data is seasonal...so that is why I am saying ';overall'; - it can change each month depending on oil prices, geopolitical, weather, trade agreements, etc.

Although Saudi Arabia is probably third - it is only about 1/5th of the oil the U.S. imports. This is due to the expense of transport...vs...the higher expense of obtaining it from more local regions. What countries does US buy it's oil from?
Roughly 30% Saudi Arabia, 20% Iraq, 100% I will hang you using dental floss.
