I bought 2 oil paintings this morning at a garage sale and I want to know how to find out what they are worth.?

They are both oil paintings and they are both gorgeous. They are in very thick gold frames and one of them is signed and it looks like it says Frank. The lady said that they were in her grandmothers house while she was growing up and she passed away not knowing if they were worth anything. How do I find out?I bought 2 oil paintings this morning at a garage sale and I want to know how to find out what they are worth.?
take them to a museum they should be able to appraise them or tell you who can.I bought 2 oil paintings this morning at a garage sale and I want to know how to find out what they are worth.?
The first step is figuring out the artist's full name. You can do this through internet resources or head to the library. If you're not into doing research you can go to an appraiser to get it authenticated and figure out a price range, but that could end up costing more than the item is worth.

In the meantime you'll want to preserve them as well as possible. Since they're oils, you'll want to keep them in a cool place, and stored so that they don't receive too much light, but can still breathe. Whatever you do, don't reframe, restore, or clean it yourself.

Where can I buy watercress extract and acai pulp oil?

not sure about the acai pulp but you can make your own watercress extract (also called a tincture) very easily

here is one of the many sites explaining how to do that

http://www.ehow.com/how_2214005_make-a-t鈥?/a>

just get some watercress at your local grocery in the produce department

for the menstrum or liquid use 80 proof vodka distilled form grain (the cheapest one is ok)

put some vodka in a blender with the watercress (buy some dried watercress by searching online by writing bulk herbs watercress into the search engine if you cannot find it fresh)

blend..

then pour into a glass jar..when it settles either add more watercress or more vodka (whichever is needed) to have the liquid on top be 1/4 to 1/2 of the jar (the top half) the watercress or herb you are using if doing a different kind of herb tincture) will sink to the bottom.

Once you have the right amount of watercress and vodka, shake the jar whenever you think of it daily for 2 weeks.

then strain through a cloth as directed. When labeling it, write an expiration date 5 years form the date you strained it although it will be good long after that...some tinctures over 200 years old have been found to be fine)

store it in a dark glass bottle or cupboard in a bag as light deteriorates it.

The general tincture dose is 60 drops (2 dropperfuls 3-5 times a day_ unless you are following a specific program amount.

a brief search should turn up a source of the acai pulp oil

I have a 4 stroke petrol mower needing oil i bought 2 stroke by mistake, i put it in where the oil should go?

i have not mixed the 2 stroke with anything will it do any harm to my mowerI have a 4 stroke petrol mower needing oil i bought 2 stroke by mistake, i put it in where the oil should go?
Yes, it will do harm. Drain it and put in 30w oil. 2 stroke oil will not provide the lubrication your mower needs.I have a 4 stroke petrol mower needing oil i bought 2 stroke by mistake, i put it in where the oil should go?
Souldn't be a problem, ... but if you're concerned, flip the mower over and on the bottom is an oil drain plug. Remove, drain oil, then put plug back and refill.
Dump it out and refill with the correct oil. You will ruin the engine with 2-cycle oil.
change it sone and everything will be ok if you use for to long there could be porblems
Not sure if it will harm it, but I would try to dump it and put in the right stuff.
It won't harm it but I would put some 20/50 oil in instead.
Not sure...probably in one of those milk containers

This is the one I use. They're very quick, very reliable and last time I ordererd a set of 25 different herbs they sent me 27 and a pack of incense!

http://www.herbmoonhollow.comWhat are the best sites to buy bulk herbs and oils and jars?
While there are a number of sites that do sell herbs of different types, I think there are two main sources.

First, the organic foods store will have a variety, but they may tend to be a bit pricey.

2nd, and my favorite would be to go to your neighborhood coop. I think co-ops re wonderful, and provide both organic and non-organic foods at relatively modest prices. and, (at least at ours) you can buy in bulk, any where from a 1/2 teaspoon of saffron to parsley by the pound.

If you bring your own containers, they will give another slight discount.

Another thing, in favor of co-ops is that if you buy a membership (at least in ours) they will give a substantial discount off your purchases.

And, last but not least, membership will allow you to work at the co-op, if you wish, and get another discount.

Great, plus you will have an opportunity to learn through the classes they present, usually for free.

Good luck

There are a lot of oil ETFs out there. Which one is better to buy, or does it even matter?

ETF's are just like Mutual Funds except that you can trade them actively during the trading day. Mutual Funds only trade after the market closes 4:00 EST. So if you enter an order to trade your Fidelity Mutual Fund at 10:00 AM you get the price it settles for at 4:00PM that evening. With the current volatility of the markets that's not good. Which ones to buy now? I like hard assets, steel , coal, oil, agriculture, things the we will continue to need in touch times..not retail, banking, or Leisure. I'm not sure it matters all that much. I'd buy the one with the largest daily volume, for guaranteed liquidity.

What countries does US buy it's oil from?

pie chartWhat countries does US buy it's oil from?
Overall, much of the U.S. Oil imports come from Canada and Mexico (in that order) at this time. These two countries make up the bulk (roughly half) of oil imported to the U.S.. Nigeria, Venezuela and Saudi Arabia are close thirds. The data is seasonal...so that is why I am saying ';overall'; - it can change each month depending on oil prices, geopolitical, weather, trade agreements, etc.

Although Saudi Arabia is probably third - it is only about 1/5th of the oil the U.S. imports. This is due to the expense of transport...vs...the higher expense of obtaining it from more local regions. What countries does US buy it's oil from?
Roughly 30% Saudi Arabia, 20% Iraq, 100% I will hang you using dental floss.
