How much oil does the us buy from iran?

Actually, we currently get none of our oil from Iran. Contrary to popular belief, most of our foreign oil comes from Canada (about 19%). Another big chunk comes from Mexico (about 14%). Next up are Saudi Arabia and Venezuela, with about 12% each, and rounding out the top five is Nigeria, with about 10%. While it is true that we get more oil from the Middle East as a whole (excluding Iran) than we do from Canada, that still only amounts to about 20%, as opposed to Canada's 19%.

These figures are accurate as of mid 2006. They should still be roughly accurate now.How much oil does the us buy from iran?
