The US has about 2 - 3 % of the worlds oil reserves. We consume about 40% of it. Drilling for oil is not a long term or really even a short term solution because by the time we were able to set up and drill for oil we should already be working towards getting alternate fuel cells in our cars.. because if we do not we'll be paying 8 dollars a gallon of gas. itll make what we paid this summer look like chump change. Republicans are pushing for drilling because there is still Big business and profit to be made.Palin wants to sell off Federal Land for Oil Corporations. Is she ';Buy'; Polar?
