I'm looking for citronella oil to use in a fly spray recipe for my horse (cheaper than going out to the local tack shop and buying fly spray!). I've looked at two different stores, and neither one had what I was looking for. I need the oil to be pretty ';raw';, meaning that it has to be just the basic oil, and nothing extra mixed in. It needs to be something that would be safe to spray on my horse's skin. I know that you can find a citronella oil mixture that goes into citronella oil lamps, but I'm pretty sure that that's not what I need. Does anyone have any suggestion on what specific stores to try, or what types of stores might have it? I appreciate the help. :]Where to buy citronella oil?
There are several websites that carry Citronella as an essential oil. The prices I've seen run around $3.00 per ounce.
