We use olive oil instead of butter on vegetables, potatoes, pasta, and of course every kind of salad. Considering how much butter and margarine we never buy anymore [hint: a pound of SmartBalance Omega-3 marg. lasts me a month to 6 weeks] olive oil is cheap indeed. I dress pasta with olive oil and throw in chopped raw tomatoes and black olives and some Mrs. Dash seasonings and have a totally healthy dish. We don't fry anything anyway, so a big jug of olive oil fulfills our every need--except for the morning toast for Him.Do you really buy olive oil? It's kind of expensive.?
yes i do buy it all the time wen i go to the market but it depends on the market u go to to determan how much it will cost uDo you really buy olive oil? It's kind of expensive.?
I do, I use it for everything but baking. A gallon lasts me a very long time, like 6 months. So $13 for 6 months of constant use is pretty decent. Plus, it's a healthier oil anyway.
Yes I do , I cook with it, and will not use any other oil , other then deep frying which I would use a vegetable oil for that of course.
Yes I buy it. It lasts for quite awhile tho because I never use more than 2 Tbls at a time and I only use it once or twice a week, sometimes less.
Yes but you don't use it in everything. You need to have a few different kinds of oils in your kitchen.
it's so worth it, and a little goes a long way.
