So China, Russia, the Gulf Countries, etc. are having secret meetings to abandon the US Dollar! And if that happens --- our money's going to be practically valueless (((

This is just a progression of existing policies. Countries have been switching oil contracts from dollars to euros for years. During that same time, the value of the dollar has fallen due to the underlying weakness of the American economy. Countries that had switched payment from dollars to euros caused an accelerated hike in the price of oil. So, a barrel of oil that cost 50euros 4 years ago would have cost about $60.50. Today, that 50euros barrel would cost about $73.5. That's a 21.5% increase. When the American economy is noticeably stronger, the value of the dollar will increase. The Chinese want to switch the value of oil from the US dollar to gold reserves. Even a French envoy suggested that the dollar be replaced by the Chinese yuan which is increasingly gaining more monetary power in the wake of America's recession. The current exchange rates for the yuan vs the dollar is at 6 to 1, economists predict that in ten years the US dollar will depreciate so much that the yuan would be worth 4 to 1. All of these signs are clear, the US no longer enjoys its position of being an economic superpower, its now been decayed and hardly recognizable by those who once regarded it as the country that can do no wrong.





I think one of the main reasons why this recession happened is that the rest of the world is so ahead of the U.S. When you look at average students from overseas vs. the brightest kids taught in the best American schools, they just don't compare. I read an article a longer time ago where a researcher tested a group of ';average'; students in Japan and a group of the ';smartest'; students in America over their mathematical abilities. It was found that the average students overseas performed much better than the brightest student here
Here is what we do: Never ever elect liberals to the white house again. We must have strong conservatives who will drill for our off shore and land oil, and work with our allies and not against them (as 0boma does now) to secure our position as a global power. Liberals want America to be 'equal' ... THIS IS THE RESULT!





Also - we would not use anything but the dollar to sell our oil. Settle down.
We are going to watch as the imbeciles (Dems) in D.C. run the dollar into the ground and cause inflation to rapidly rise along with the cost of our debt. Who will purchase our debt in the future, and for what price? Those who actually pay taxes are royally screwed, as usual.





By the time Obama and friends are done, this country will be totally effed for many years to come. The Dems are willing to sacrifice this country to advance their insane agenda. They are despicable. Good thing for them that stoning people was outlawed years ago.
Well I guess our dollar is going to collapse. Maybe it will bring about the end of the Federal Reserve. I know both parties want to audit it. Maybe we can go back to the gold standard.





Dammit I knew I should have bought gold years ago. Why do we have fiat money? Why can't we have money that means something? The faker our money is, the more those fat cats in Washington can print freely. There's no finite amount of money, just a bunch of assholes at the money tap.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the US dollar has been practically valueless for years now. I think that the world will be on one world currency.
